Who We Build With
We build with the people closest to the problem: the body that writes the standards, the researchers who stress-test our models, and the designers who watch real users struggle with our software. Here is who we have worked with and what came out of it.
Accreditation body
DNV
We are digitalizing DNV's survey and accreditation process end to end, from the moment a survey is scheduled to the corrective action plan a hospital submits weeks later.
Survey and accreditation, end to end
DNV's survey process ran across documents, email, and disconnected systems. We rebuilt it as a single connected workflow, so every step produces structured data the next step can use.
Scheduling a survey
Conducting the survey in the field
Giving each surveyor their own workspace
Supporting DNV's internal processes and handoffs
Supervisor review
Integration with the Standards & Interpretations team's workflows
Delivering nonconformities and findings to client hospitals
Letting hospitals respond, submitting corrective action plans and objective evidence back to DNV
Running reports and dashboards on the newly digitalized data
Training & Education (TED)
Separately, we work with DNV's Training and Education department to turn survey reports into a teaching signal. We extract structured data from raw Word-document reports (both preliminary and final) to reveal where training actually moves the needle.
That unlocked analytics DNV couldn't run before: which standards are most cited across their customer base, how findings shift between preliminary and final reports, and where the same gap recurs. It also turns free-text finding descriptions (the part that had always been unusable at scale) into structured, queryable data.
Research partnership
Columbia University
A semester-long research partnership with Columbia's Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR), focused on one of the hardest problems in healthcare compliance: mapping regulatory standards across federal, state, and accreditation bodies in an automated, scalable way.
Standards crosswalk automation
Hospitals answer to overlapping rule sets: federal (CMS, OSHA, ANSI), 27+ state standard sets, and accreditation bodies like DNV. They all say similar things in different language. Crosswalking them by hand is slow, inconsistent, and never finished. We built an AI pipeline to do it, and partnered with Columbia to make it verifiably good.
A feedback loop that compounds
Columbia's Master's students, researchers, and the Medlaunch team built a QA validation feedback loop for our crosswalk pipeline. It lets industry experts systematically review hundreds of standard-to-standard mappings and give structured feedback that feeds directly back into the system.
The result is a human-in-the-loop self-improvement cycle: AI generates the crosswalks, expert reviewers validate and correct them, and those corrections compound into better outputs with each iteration.
Our second academic partnership of the year, and we hope to keep building with Columbia for semesters to come.
Design research partnership
Pratt Institute
Two usability studies with Pratt's Center for Digital Experiences (DX Center), across our survey products and our incident management and corrective action workflows, the flows hospital customers touch every day.
Testing the flows that matter most
The DX Center brought UX research and design thinking to two critical areas of the platform: incident management and corrective action workflows. These aren't peripheral screens: they're what a quality team lives in, and getting them right changes whether the work gets done.
Moderated testing surfaced the friction that internal teams stop seeing: unclear status language, workflows that stall before the first click, and steps that felt like obstacles rather than progress. The improvements are already making their way into production.
Our second engagement with the DX Center, and one we hope keeps growing.
Starting a partnership with Medlaunch is a conversation, not an application queue. Here is what the process looks like from first email to first joint win.
Step 1
Pick your partner type
Choose the partnership model that lines up with your organization and the hospitals you already work with.
Step 2
Email the partnerships team
Write to partnerships@medlaunchconcepts.com with who you are and where you see the overlap. A person reads it, not a form handler.
Step 3
Onboard with resources
Kickoff call, a shared channel, and the enablement material your team needs to talk about the platform accurately.
Step 4
Start collaborating
Co-selling, co-marketing, joint research, or integration work, whatever the partnership was actually for.
More in the works
These aren't all of them. We're actively building with accrediting bodies, universities, consultants, and technology partners. Some of that work isn't public yet.
If you're working on the same problems, we'd like to hear from you.
